We are home!

It’s 2 weeks today and so far it has gone by so fast. We have all settled down in classes. Alleyah and Noah are attending a bi-lingual school in the mornings. Morgan and I have also started our language classes. It has been amazing to see things fall into place. Alleyah started back in here dance class. Morgan started coaching baseball again, and I (Lori) got to start my pregnancy visits at the hospital. The hospital will be a whole blog post of its own later.

We are happy and settling in our home again. The kids were sharing a room together before our trip to America. With our new addition in Aug we moved Alleyah to our office and we now have our desk in our living room. It’s all working out well. We also have some friends visiting from Pismo, California and love their hearts for this place. Also have had the adventure of returning to 2 pregnant cats that now have 8 kittens total! As soon as possible we will give them away!

Check out the blog run by a friend here in town, updates starting to happen to keep you updated on the Starfish-project here in our city. Find it at: http://illumestyle.blogspot.com

There are a few things that stand out again after our visit to the States. It makes me chuckle that these top 10 things were quite normal before, but are shocking again.

               1.     Back to the land of no clothes dryer.
               2.     Milk purchased in bags (very messy)
               3.     Our picture taken without permission
               4.     No road rules (except to honk at all times)
               5.     Nose picking is a social norm
               6.     Spitting is a social norm
               7.     Split pants and children peeing on the sidewalk
               8.     No shoes in the house
               9.     Making slurping noise while eating
               10. Something breaking everyday.

Friends over to see the baby kittens.

Alleyah back to dance class, so proud of her!

Thanks for following! More updates and adventures to come.
