Good News!

Noah packing his drum in his suitcase.
Alleyah packing all her favorites.
The family belongings all in 8 suitcases! We did it!

We got our family visas today! It was a long road, and we have 30 days to do it all over again when we arrive in Asia. But we have them along with our one-way tickets. Bags are packed and we are crazy busy finishing last minute things here on the coast.  By Friday everything will be finished and we will be on our way to Oregon. On our way we will stop and visit one great Grandma. After being with coworkers and friends in Oregon we will drive back to visit another great grandma. Then we have only two short weeks in the valley to visit with both sides of the family. We have only two immunizations left to get. Noah has to wait until he is two years old (Aug 20th) and Lori has a booster.

Alleyah’s first dentist appointment before we go! A few weeks ago Alleyah went with Lori to watch and see the dentist do dentist stuff and see Mommy so relaxed as she got her mouth cleaned and x-rayed. Alleyah would not stop talking and loved it. She left saying she wanted to be a dentist. So this morning we left for her first appointment. They sat Lori down first to say everything looked great and that she has no cavities. Then the dentist came in, mask and all. Alleyah looked at Lori with the biggest brown eyes of terror, asking, “IS HE HERE FOR ME?” yeah Alleyah, her quick response was, “GET ME OUT OF HERE!” Screaming louder than the scene on Finding Nemo! I was so surprised. We ended up not being able to see the dentist and left with a shaking little girl with tears running down her face. I guess we will have to try again when we travel to another area of Asia. Until then I just hope her mouth is healthy.

Thanks again for all your thoughts! Keep them coming~
