We love being home again and back in the normal things. Alleyah was happy to go back to school and see her friends. Noah was happy to wear his Buzz Light year costume again, and Morgan and I are happy to have noodles and delicious dishes again!
It is always a great feeling when you know this place is home. We walk out and see familiar faces and have friends come to see us again. The week has become full of activities for us. Morgan is coaching again this year with some friends at the university for baseball. We are both getting back to language study and still enjoy learning more. The extra thing this month is hosting a group of young people in our city from Pismo, CA. It has been amazing to see the open doors they have had and the new friends we are being introduced to.
We both are focusing on our 5-year plan that we created in Thailand and again it amazes us how things fall into place. We are so blessed to be doing the things we are involved in.
One area of huge blessing is seeing our kids so well adjusted here. It is almost shocking when I see them talking to people in their second language. Both Alleyah and Noah have friends they play with. It used to bug them when strangers come up and ask them questions, but now both of them stop to answer.
We have about a month and a half left before school is out and then off to the grasslands in our area. We want to buy a tent and camp with some nomads and farmers outside the city. The kids love being out of the city and we love it too. We are excited about the next few months and all that is falling into place!
Thanks for keeping up with us!
