Bitter Sweet

Noah's excitement~Ok so it's for dinner and not Asia, but we like to
think he is this excited for Asia too.

Bitter Sweet is a good way to describe our emotions as we get ready to move.
The bitter part of these emotions is the sadness about the realization of leaving our family, friends and comforts of life. We have been planning a going away party and goodbye parties for friends, family, and staff. It is so hard for us to think of it as goodbye and it makes me (Lori) cry sometimes. I like Morgan's wise advise to go through the hard emotions now, so that in 6-8 months I am not going through them after we are settled down. We are, however, aware that some days may just be hard, but processing these emotions now can help for those days. We are so grateful for Skype, facebook, and blogs. It gives me comfort to know we can keep up on our relationships.

Oh the sweet! At the same time there is so much excitement! Everyday we dream about the things we will see and do, the opportunities we will have and the experience our family will have. We have been married for almost 8 years and this move has always been our goal. Now it is here and we get to go be apart of what we know is asked of us. When we see pictures or any news from Asia our faces light up, we just can't wait to be there.
It's almost time!
